These cards are absolutely beautiful. The paper quality is excellent, and the large space inside allows each of my staff members to write a personal sympathy message, which is so meaningful for our clients. My only reason for four stars is the price. As a clinic, we strive to keep our euthanasia costs affordable, so every expense matters. Otherwise, they are perfect.
Thank you for this thoughtful review.
You are making a great point: how much do we spend on things and are we getting it right.
As a small startup, I constantly juggle my operational needs (buying card stock, ink, boxes...) with what I believe is the right thing to do: sending out free samples, supporting a local charity, send a free Rainbow Box to a neighbor... I don't think there is just one answer to it, but I tried to sum up some thoughts about the cost of cards in this article: https://rainbowbox.shop/blogs/news/the-cost-of-a-card-and-does-it-make-a-difference
Rainbox Box was very easy to work with, and they customized our sympathy cards exactly how we wanted them. They are beautiful and our clients love them.
We absolutely love the sympathy cards! The quality is beautiful, from the paper to the printing, and the option to include our logo really elevates them and makes them feel personal. Our clients have commented on how thoughtful they are, and we couldn’t be happier with how they represent our hospital. They may be a little more expensive than other options, but the quality and presentation are unmatched. Truly worth every penny!
I recently gave a Rainbow Box to very dear friends after the passing of their dog of 13 years. In moments like these, you never truly know what to say. Words can feel small compared to the weight of the loss.
That’s why the Rainbow Box meant so much. It wasn’t just a gift of things, it was an experience. The unboxing itself brought the family together, giving them a meaningful way to honor their dog and begin to process the grief.
What struck me most was the impact it had on the kids. It gave them a way to understand and talk about what had just happened. It softened the hardest part of the moment with something tangible, comforting, and hopeful.
For the parents, it carried more weight than any words I could have said. It helped with healing, created a sense of peace, and reminded them of the love they shared with their dog.
The quality and thoughtfulness are unmatched. I would recommend Rainbow Box to anyone looking for a way to support a loved one through the loss of a pet. It brings comfort when words fall short.
But in this case, it’s more than just a business. It’s something I deeply care about because I have been there myself.
When our dog started to show signs of aging and the first scary warning signs appeared, we were determined to fight. But at some point, you realize that while you can fight diseases, you can’t fight death. Eventually, you have to face it.
Luckily for us, we still had some years of good quality time with our dog, and we made the best out of it. This dog was spoiled with all the attention and affection we could give, and we did everything to make his pain bearable and his life interesting and worth living. We also found a vet we trusted to help us make the right decision when the time came to face the inevitable.
What we were not prepared for was the time after.
Our dog, with his big personality, left an abyss of a void in our lives.
When we created the Rainbow Box, we knew it could not perform magic, but it was a bridge. It softens the blow of loss and is an essential first step in starting the healing process, transforming pain and loss into memories to cherish.
What I did not realize was how much it actually meant for the vet and the entire team. They feel helpless, too, when they send you home with just a leash and a collar. They feel this can't be the end.
So, for them, it's a big relief to know that the Rainbow Box is arriving in a few days and will provide so much comfort.
It provides tremendous joy and satisfaction when I put all the elements together, engrave and personalize it, and send it on its way to a pet owner who really needs it. I am eternally grateful for being given this opportunity.
Since I started back in January this year, I have completed over 200 visits to veterinary clinics in and around Atlanta, and I was overwhelmed by the positive feedback I received. Still, only a few have decided to adopt the Rainbow Box and started to embrace this opportunity for their clinic. But those have been so happy with their decision and are coming back for more.
These are the innovators and the early adopters in Metro Atlanta. The first 10-15% who took the plunge and never looked back.
I am now tackling the next stage: the early majority, those who are still 'on the fence' but can already see why this is a good next step for them.
